Aims & Scope
Intelligent and Sustainable Manufacturing is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal, which publishes papers on all aspects of research and engineering applications of intelligent and sustainable manufacturing, including sustainable manufacturing, energy management and assessment, energy field assisted manufacturing, mechanisms of manufacturing process, process performance of difficult-to-cutting materials and intelligent manufacturing and equipment, et al.
High-level original research articles, reviews, communications, commentaries, perspectives and research highlights are all welcomed. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
(i) Sustainable manufacturing (Dry machining, Minimum quantity lubrication, Low temperature cooling, Cryogenic cooling, Bio-lubricant, Nano-lubricant, Degradable cutting fluid, et al.)
(ii) Energy management and assessment (Green manufacturing model, Carbon emission, Process optimization, Green factory, et al.)
(iii) Energy field assisted manufacturing (Electric field, Magnetic field, Ultrasonic vibration, Laser, and Multiple composite energy fields, et al.)
(iv) Mechanisms of manufacturing process (Mechanical behavior of material removal, Tribological behavior in cutting zone, Thermal behavior in cutting zone, Mechanothermal coupling behavior, Heat transfer behavior of coolant, and influence law between above mechanisms and machinability)
(v) Process performance of difficult-to-cutting materials (Drilling, Milling, Turning, Grinding, Polishing, Forming of Alloy, brittle and hard, composite materials, et al.)
(vi) Intelligent manufacturing and equipment (Data sensing technology, Data processing model, Intelligent processes, Intelligent machine tool, Efficient and adaptive manufacturing systems, Cloud manufacturing, et al.)
